Need help determining what to charge for your membership? In the video below, we will guide you through the process of setting the prices for your membership plans.
Step 1: Consider Different Plan Options
The first step to creating your membership program is to consider the different plan options you would like to offer. The most common plans we see are typically for children, adults, and periodontal patients.
Step 2: Decide on Included Services
Next, decide on the services you would like to include in each plan. Typically, preventive care services such as exams, cleanings, and X-rays are included. You may also want to consider including additional services such as fluoride treatments or oral cancer screenings
Step 3: Review Master Fee Schedule and Calculate Costs
Lastly, review your master fee schedule and calculate the out-of-pocket cost for the included services per patient per year. Our suggestion is to set your membership fee at 80-90% of that total cost. This will allow you to offer comprehensive care to your patients while also ensuring that your practice is financially sustainable.
By considering different plan options, deciding on included services, and reviewing your master fee schedule, you can determine pricing for your membership plans that is fair and sustainable for both your patients and your practice.
