Importing Existing Member Card Details

Thank you for joining Smile Advantage and transferring all of your active membership patients to the Smile Advantage platform. As a reminder, due to compliance and security protocols, we were not able to obtain the credit card information for your patients during the transfer. However, all of their plan details, such as renewal dates and plan information, are still intact. We kindly ask that you update their card information within our system to ensure their future payments are processed successfully.

To assist you with this, we have created a short video that demonstrates the simple steps to take.

3 ways you can update their card information:

  1. Contact the patient before their membership expires and update their credit card information in their profile. The system will charge their card automatically on their next renewal date.
  2. Wait until their next appointment, retrieve their card number, and input it at that time using the Renew Member button. Their membership will continue to charge their card on their original renewal date. If you need to change their renewal date, you can do so by submitting a support request.

  3. If you have the patient’s card on file now at the office, you can simply go in now and manually update their card on their profile screen in the dashboard.
